Replaceable Derailer Dropout Hangers

New! Wheels Mfg. Emergency Replacement Derailer Hanger This is soooo cool! Emergency derailer hanger secures with your quick release skewer, to get you home even if you trash the hanger on your frame. It's 4 mm thick, so your derailer may not have sufficient range to reach the largest sprocket, but you'll still be able to use all of your other gears. Also available as part of the Wheels Mfg. Most aluminum or composite frames have replaceable derailer hangers that bolt on to the right rear dropout. These are designed to be a breakaway/replaceable part so that serious frame damage will be avoided in the event the rear derailer goes into the spokes.

There are quite a few different variations on these from different manufacturers. We make an attepmpt to stock what we can.

Some of these may fit other frames as well as the ones listed. If your bike is not listed, but the drawing matches, there's a decent chance that the hanger shown will work, but we can offer no assurance of this, and these parts are not returnable.

We offer these mainly as a service, this is not a major profit center for us. If we have to do a lot of hand-holding or accept returns, it becomes a liability...that's why most shops don't like to deal with these.
