584 mm / 650B Clincher Rims This size is mainly seen on older French touring bikes and tandems and some Rivendell models. An increasingly popular choice for conversion of 700c bikes. 650B size allows for wider tires and more clearance for fenders. Sometimes also known as 26 x 1 1/2". Not to be confused with the 590 mm 650A or 571 mm 650C sizes.
