J.A. Stein Mini Cassette Lock Ring Tool

This is the position for removing the Hyperglide lockring. Turn the pedals in the forward direction with the tool bumping up against the back of the fork end to loosen the lockring.

Some derailer hangers are quite weak, so you should never use this tool with the post bumping against the hanger.
