J.A. Stein Mini Cassette Lock Ring Tool

This is the position for re-tightening the Hyperglide lockring. Turn the wheel backward with the tool bumping up against the underside of the fork end to tighten the lockring.

Be gentle! This gives a lot of leverage, and it doesn't need to be very tight!

Some derailer hangers are quite weak, so you should never use this tool with the post bumping against the hanger.
