This was the second Nikon digital camera I ever had, and was my constant companion for several years, riding in my right front trouser pocket wherever I went. It's a great design, with a pivoting lens segment that can be used at different angles than the viewfinder screen. The 1.8 megapixel images worked pretty well for Web use, but I retired this camera when I got my Kodak V570.
I do miss the tilting lens, but the Kodak's extreme wide-angle and other capabilities have overcome my sentimental attachment to the Coolpix 2500.
Actually, I've misplaced this camera, it likely fell out of my pocket somewhere. That's why I have to make do with an advertising photo.
