My father, like me, enjoyed tinkering and inventing, and also enjoyed sharing his technical knowledge. His particular area of expertise was electronics, and he did a great deal of work in early development of vehicle-mounted radio communication equipment.He was an active ham, and a regular contributor to CQ magazine, where this article appeared in the December, 1948 issue.
