| Mattes farm was at that time a "farm owned by the crown" and Matts Caransson was the tenant of the farm. Probably members of the same family and earlier also lived onthe same farm. M.G. bought Mattes farm from the Board of Trade in Stockholm through a resolution dted Feb. 23, 1791. For this it is mentioned that the fam was sold to the earlier tenant Matts Garansson, "He paid the purchase money, 21 riksdaler and 36 shillingar" June 26, 1790 13 | ||||||||
