Stems listed in this section have standard 1 1/8" (28.6 mm) diameter quills, fit threaded stems with 1 1/4" (31.8 mm) outside diameter. This size is mainly used on tandems and a few older mountain bikes.Pickings are very slim in this size. The most practical way to deal with it is to buy a Nitto MT. Column and use a 1 1/8 Inch "threadless" type stem on the Mt. Column.
