This new model is Ultegra/XT quality level, with double contact bearing seals and highly polished bearing surfaces. This results in very low drag and good weather resistance. Requires No Batteries No worries about battery charge level. Low drag, weather protected Drag with the Nexus is only slightly higher than with the much more expensive Schmidt hub. Install the lockring over the adaptor to push it all the way on, tighten the pinch bolt to proper torque, then remove lockring and install rotor. This helps ensure proper adaptor alignment. The lockwasher can be removed from the mounting bolt as it may cause the adaptor to twist out of alignment as bolt is tightened.
