Prices rise! Sorry, but the weakness of the U.S. Dollar has caused a substantial price increase for Brooks saddles and other U.K.-made products.
In addition, the global increase in the price of titanium has caused an even higher rise on prices of the models with titanium frames.

Brooks B72 leather saddle

The B72

The B72 was standard equipment on the classic Raleigh Sports 3-speed bicycles.

The frame has single loops which provide a very slight amount of spring action. This saddle, in black, is the correct model to use if you are trying to do a "stock" restoration of an older Raleigh/Rudge/Humber "Sports" model, but for general riding comfort, we would suggest going with the fully-sprung B66, which has the same basic shape, and is the same price.

The B72 is a double-rail saddle

These use a special clamp (included) for old-style "pipe-type" seatposts.
To use them with modern "microadjusting" seatposts, you need a "Seat Sandwich" ($14.95) buy button

The B72 features bag loops to permit the use of a traditional English-style touring bag.

Current production has black frames.

Note on Brooks pricing: Brooks has changed its U.S. distributor, and the new distributor's wholesale prices are much higher. As new stock comes in, our prices will be adjusted accordingly, on a model-by-model basis.

This is the model that came as standard equipment on the Raleigh Sports 3-speed.
