We do not sell 11 speed cassettes online.
Cassettes that feature an 11 tooth sprocket are intended to fit "C" (Compact) hub bodies only. The spline grooves in the 11 do not run all the way through (it wouldn't be strong enough if they did.)These cassettes can be fitted onto older bodies two ways:
- If you install a 1 mm spacer before the cassette, the cassette will fit, but the cassette will then be 1 mm farther to the right than it is intended to be. With most bikes, this won't be a problem, but if your frame has very tight clearance, or if you want to be able to interchange multiple rear wheels without having to re-adjust the derailer, this could be a problem.
- You can convert an older Freehub body to work with "C" type cassettes by grinding off the outer corners of the splines so that the 11 can fit on far enough to hold the rest of the cassette in place.
It is generally good practice to replace your chain when you install a new cassette. We particularly recommend SRAM (Formerly Sachs (Formerly Sedis)) chains. Click here for details.
