The wheels shown on this page are the classic French "650 B" size, also known as 26 x 1 1/2 (note, that's a fraction, not a decimal.) This size is seen on classic French touring bikes and tandems, and is also being revived with brands such as Saluki and Bleriot. This wheel size is also often useful for upgrading harsh-riding racing bikes so that they can use wider, more comfortable tires.
