Hello: I have a Shimano Alfine SG-S7000-8, it works just fine but I’m not happy with my cobbled together disc brake. I saw here someplace on this site that it was possible to convert my hub to a drum (not roller) brake. Can you please clarify this for me?

Sorry, I don’t know of any such thing. The Rollerbrake is a drum brake and as far as I know the only kind made for Nexus hubs, other than the hubs with internal coaster brake.
