Our new article will help you to customize a fatbike, but also gives you a look into customizing bicycles, in general.

The Sheldon Brown gear calculator is updated and improved: more tire sizes are covered including fatbikes, 29ers, 29+ and monster bikes, and we now have a version in German, as well as French.

Additions to the Gear Calculator

New crank lengths have been added to the Gear Calculator and Internal Gear Calculator, so they can calculate gain ratios for children’s bicycles with cranks down to 100 mm (less than 4 inches).
